Haldane » hip hop http://evahaldane.com/blog these are just my thoughts Sat, 03 Dec 2011 17:24:14 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.2.1 surprising theme in notorious http://evahaldane.com/blog/2009/01/surprising-theme-in-notorious/ http://evahaldane.com/blog/2009/01/surprising-theme-in-notorious/#comments Mon, 19 Jan 2009 16:43:07 +0000 e. http://evahaldane.com/blog/?p=141 I saw Notorious on Friday.  In my opinion, it was ok.  I think they could and should have developed every character way more.  In spite of that, I was pleasantly surprised to see a lot about fatherhood in the movie.  Biggie’s struggle to be a good father, a litle insight into why he wasn’t the best for a while and his desire to be a better father in the end.  It was a pleasant surprise.  I wasn’t the biggest Biggie fan, so I didn’t know he had two children.  I can’t say that I was surprised, but it was nice that the children even had a place in the movie.
