Hi, I’m Eva, but my friends call me e.

By day I’m a third year PhD student struggling through comps and my dissertation proposal.  By night, I’m writing about anything other than school stuff.  This blog has gone through many transformations as I struggle over whether to make this professional or just be myself.  I’ve decided on some good old fashioned blogging, a la my xanga days.  Here you’ll catch me musing on life, love, academia, Black people, and my pursuit of happiness, with a little crafting sprinkled in.  So join me as I document my life and try not to write anything that will result in me not getting hired when I finally hit the job market.  Should be fun times.
